Nation’s Capital

photo-3

This past week my boyfriend and I took a friend visiting from South Africa for the first time on a day trip into DC. Every time I go downtown I always end up realizing how much I love the city and how I don’t go in as much as I really would like too. My new favorite way to give the “nickel” tour of DC is by bike, in less than 4 hours we were able to eat lunch, visit the white house, capital building and most monuments.  We lucked out with actually having perfect weather, which made the trip that much more enjoyable.
