5 Friday Favorites

I haven’t had anytime to make new posts this week due to my busy work schedule and my closet reorganization (which is taking a little longer than expected). And here I am again off to another girls weekend at the beach. This time we are staying at my parents beach house in Rehoboth Beach, DE. I have been going to Rehoboth Beach ever since I was a little girl and I love going there, not only because of the beach but the town of Rehoboth has the cutest shops and restaurants. I am super excited to get away for the weekend and relax with the girls.

I was in Harrisburg this past weekend for a wedding, while I had a good time, unfortunately I was fitting a virus the whole weekend which left me extremely congested and low on energy. :/ not so fun. But I made the best of it, and the wedding was beautiful. Harrisburg is a cute town, with some great old architecture. Our friends had the reception at a museum in downtown Harrisburg which I thought was a pretty unique place to have your wedding reception.

I wanted to share some of my favorite photos from the trip to South Africa this past December.  My Mom and Boyfriend are both from South Africa so it is a very special place for me. Even though I have been to South Africa multiple times this last trip down was one of my favorites. Not only did I get to spend Christmas laying out in the sun, we went on a safari and ate lots of great food.

Nation’s Capital

This past week my boyfriend and I took a friend visiting from South Africa for the first time on a day trip into DC. Every time I go downtown I always end up¬†realizing¬†how much I love the city and how I don’t go in as much as I really would like too. My new favorite way to give the “nickel” tour of DC is by bike, in less than 4 hours we were able to eat lunch, visit the white house, capital building and most monuments. ¬†We lucked out with actually having perfect weather, which made the trip that much more enjoyable.
